CT Scanner (GE Pro Speed™1)

Our spiral CT scanner provides superior diagnostic evaluation of the head, neck, nasal cavity, thoracic cavity, and spine. This imaging equipment can be invaluable for staging cancer, and helps determine if a tumor can be successfully resected. In dogs with intervertebral disc disease, accuracy of lesion localization is greatly enhanced. The CT scanner can also help diagnose certain orthopedic conditions, such as fragmental medial coronoid process of the elbow.

High Definition Arthroscope (Stryker™)/Laparoscope

Using a scope we are able to more thoroughly examine and treat many joint conditions. The advantages include less pain, reduced recovery time and typically a higher rate of success because of less surgical trauma. If your pet requires arthroscopy/laparscopy, our doctors can fully explain the outlook of this procedure for your pet’s specific condition.

C-Arm Fluoroscopy (Hologic™)

This imaging technology has revolutionized the management of complex fractures, and dynamic studies of the esophagus and liver.  Using the C-Arm, many fractures can be repaired using minimally invasive techniques. Fluoroscopy also aids in the diagnosis of portosystemic shunts, esophageal and tracheal disorders and some disc disease.

Cold Compression Therapy (Game Ready™)

Cold compression therapy has been scientifically shown to help control post-operative pain, swelling and muscle spasms. We recently initiated a post-operative cold compression protocol consisting of two 15-30 minute treatments prior to discharge.
