VS | Michelle Larson, CVT Michelle is our lead veterinary technician. She has been with Affiliated Veterinary Specialists (AVS) of Jacksonville since April, 2001. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and received her certification from Colby Community College, Colby, Kansas. Following graduation, she moved to Jacksonville working as a CVT five years prior to joining the AVS team. |

Angelina Weingartz, Veterinary Technician Angelina joined AVS of Jacksonville in August, 2007. Angie has over six years of veterinary technician experience. She is also attending school with the long term goal of receiving a DVM. |

Sofia Rivera, Veterinary Technician Sofia became a member of AVS in May 2011. She received a degree in Apparal Design from Florida State University in 2003. She was with North Florida Veterinary Specialists - Internal Medicine for 2 years and prior to that the Animal Medical Clinic of Sawgrass. |

Holly Headley, Veterinary Technician Holly joined the AVS team in September 2011. She has a degree in Chemistry & Biology from Florida State University 2005. She has 6 years of experience at Novey Animal Hospital. She moved to Jacksonville in 2008 and started working for the Animal Eye Clinic and North Florida Veterinary Specialists - Internal Medicine. |

Vicki Larson, Office Manager Vicki joined AVS of Jacksonville in November, 2005 as the hospital’s office manager. Prior to AVS, she worked in medical records in Manhattan, Kansas for 24 years and as Board of Education Clerk and Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent in Randolph, Kansas for 14 years. |
